Irving Street Lofts

Building Information | Homes For Sale

The Irving Street Lofts, located on NW 13th and Irving was originally built in 1925, but was converted to rentals and artists lofts in the late 1980s. The building was originally used for the Blumauer & Frank Drug Company – wholesale druggist and manufacturing pharmacists. In 1937 the building was sold to the McKesson Robbins Drug Company as a warehouse and was converted to rentals and artists lofts in the late 1980s. In 1995, Grancorp, Inc converted the property to loft condominiums, and slowly have become the industrial style lofts that they are today.

This 8 story building topped by one of the biggest residential roof top terrace in Portland holds 84 units which today are still occupied by many artists, because of all the natural light these units get. There are not two units the same in this industrial warehouse, each was a blank canvas for owners to customize to their liking, and you will see a variety of different floor plans. Each unit has 12 ft ceilings, large windows and exposed concrete columns. If you are really wanting a space to put your own touches on, this is the perfect building.
